Irvine Ranch Water District

Challenge:
IRWD is an independent special district serving Central Orange County, California. IRWD provides high-quality drinking water, reliable wastewater collection and treatment, recycled water programs, and urban runoff treatment to more than 330,000 residents.  The environment and water conservation are significant areas of concern to IRWD.  Their innovative programs related to recycled water as well as storm drain and urban runoff demonstrate IRWD’s commitment to these areas.

IRWD has a history for pursuing strategies that maintain high quality standards, resulting in greater efficiency and lower costs to customers.  IRWD works to promote policy initiatives that advance new and innovative technologies and programs; keep water rates low and stable; and protect the quality and reliability of delivered water.

IRWD is replacing their current CIS with Oracle’s CC&B system and sought consulting services to assist in conducting a requirements analysis as well as developing an RFP for a Systems Integrator to implement the CC&B system.

Result:
IRWD selected Five Point to assist with its selection of an Oracle Systems Integrator.  The Solution Procurement Project began January 2012.  Five Point is also providing Data Quality Assessment services.
